Sobia Ahmad (MFA ’24) is quoted in the Hyperallergic article “Artists Look to Sufism for Echoes of the Divine.”

Tsohil Bhatia (MFA ’20) is part of “Tenderly Kept: Publicly Narrating Private Objects,” presented by MA Curatorial Practice in NYC. The opening reception will be held on April 11.

Leslie A. Brown (BFA ’80) will show new works in “Hangin’ with the Girls” at Space Truckin’ Gallery in Yucca Valley, CA, opening April 19.

Lena Chen’s (MFA ’22) “Chinese Touch” will be shown by Anthology Film Archives, on April 5, 7, and 9.

Erin Elman (BFA ‘89) is featured in “Tikkun Slam: Healing Our World,” a juried exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art, on view through June 15.

Laura Karetzky (BFA ’87) has a new solo exhibition “Liar, Liar,” opening April 19 at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles.

Carolyn Lambert’s (MFA ’05) collaborative documentary with students she met in Chattanooga TN — “6 or More” — screened on March 29 as part “Echoes of Isolation” at Unison Arts Center in New Paltz, NY.

Laurie Lipton (BFA ‘75) is part of “Darkness and Light” at Art/Space 114, exploring the works of four LA-based women artists. On view through June 5.

Emily Drew Miller (BFA ‘16) is showing work in the group exhibition “Block Universe” curated by Peter Kelly at Turley gallery in Hudson, NY, through May 11.

Oscar Peters (MFA ’12) has been named the new Artist in Residence at GinDS in Amsterdam.

Barbara Rosenthal (BFA ‘70) has 26 analog photos in ODD MEN OUT (or in), a book of 13 one-page poems by Barry Wallenstein, published by Xanadu Press.

Benjamin Rosenthal (BFA ’06) screened “Body-oddy-oddy-oddy: Destabilizing the Surveilling of Queer Bodies,” a project with Eric Souther, at the Riga International Short Film Festival in Latvia on April 5.

Nina Sarnelle (MFA ’12) will perform live at The Lab in San Francisco on May 2 celebrating the launch of Mimesis Magazine’s new issue, “Let’s Spoil!”

Teresa Shields (BFA ’84) is highlighted in “I Feel Seen” at the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, NJ, presents the artist’s unique perspective and craftsmanship as she draws attention to the female gaze. On view through May 4.

Ajunie Virk (BHA ’23) and London Williams (MFA ’24), along with Adjunct Professor Alli Lemon, are among the seven artists featured in “On the Edge Of,” the 2025 Distillery Residency Group Exhibition opening April 17 in Pittsburgh.
